Congratulate the first ever Squirrel of the Month! Slim Sam, as the name implies, is one of the smaller squirrels in my area. Especially when it comes to the tail. Other noticeable traits I found when getting his photoshoot is the very pronounced appetite for peanuts. When I would go to refill the nut bar, on occasions Sam would already be sitting on the roof waiting like in the photo below. I also have suspicions he ATE THE NUT BAR. Just took a nice chunk of it for himself. Overall a fine first squirrel to kick off Squirrels Monthly.
